Last year, the "it" bridal color seemed to be some version of a plum or deep purple and lately I've been seeing trend towards Emerald Green. Now, I'm not a fan of green; never have been, probably never will be, but there is something so sophisticated and modern about emerald green that I'm absolutely loving it for weddings.
I think it's a color that works well for weddings in any of our four seasons. Pairing different accent colors with emerald green quickly changes the feel of it. It looks great with chocolate brown for Fall, with purple and blue for a Summer wedding, white and ivory for a Winter wedding; there are so many options!
Plus, emerald green will always remind me of Wizard of Oz which lends of bit of whimsy to a wedding and whimsy is my favorite feeling to have in a wedding.
